I do not accept insurance as a form of payment. I can provide monthly receipts (super bills) upon request for those who have benefits for out of network therapy. Those with private insurance PPO plans often have such benefits. If the cost of therapy is a concern, then I suggest calling your insurance company and asking:
1. Do I have benefits/coverage for out of network individual psychotherapy?
2. If so, what are the details?
This can help you calculate and estimate what your out of pocket cost of therapy will be. Because my approach to therapy is long term I do not suggest starting unless you believe it is financially sustainable for you.
