Psychodynamic therapy rooted in insight, science, and the slow, meaningful work of becoming more fully yourself.
This is not a quick fix. It is an invitation to come into yourself.
My practice is rooted in psychodynamic therapy — a long-term approach that holds space for you to explore what lies beneath the surface of your symptoms, habits, and relationships.
Anxiety, depression, and relational patterns are often not only problems in themselves, but signals of deeper experiences — repressed emotions, earlier wounds, or ways of being that once protected you but may no longer serve you well.
Sessions take place once or twice weekly, 50 minutes each. Your dreams, imagination, and the feelings that arise in the room are all welcome here.
Understanding what drives you — including the parts you haven't yet seen.
Exploring how childhood relationships shape who you are today.
Re-associating with feelings that have been kept at a distance.
Becoming more empowered to make intentional, meaningful choices.
Navigating identity, pressure, transitions, and the search for meaning during formative years.
Finding direction and a deeper sense of why — especially in times of drift or emptiness.
Understanding patterns in how you connect, attach, and sometimes struggle with others.
Reclaiming the imaginative, curious, and alive parts of yourself that may have gone quiet.
When depression, anxiety, or a sense of being stuck has made daily life feel heavy and hard.
For anyone motivated to know themselves more honestly and live with greater awareness.

I don't believe therapy is the solution to everything — and I think it's important to say that.
Our physical health, what we eat, how we move — these have profound influence on wellbeing. And as human beings, we have a spiritual dimension: a need for meaning, community, and rituals that therapy alone cannot fulfill.
What therapy can do is contribute meaningfully to your psychological health and growth — and in doing so, touch every other part of your life.
My work is grounded in rigorous training, ongoing professional engagement, and a deep commitment to the field of psychodynamic and psychoanalytic practice.
I came to this work through my own experience of realizing how vital it is to have a space where you can be truly open, honest, and authentic — in an intimate relationship with another person who is fully present with you. That realization never left me, and it became the foundation of everything I do.
Outside the therapy room, I find myself drawn to experiences that open something up — whether that's the flow of playing tennis, the rhythm of swimming, or being a devoted Lakers fan.
I'm also drawn to art that carries emotional weight — the poetry of Hafez, films like the Before trilogy or the recent Sentimental Value — things that hold idealism and complexity at the same time. These aren't separate from my work. They inform how I sit with people, what I believe about depth, and why I think beauty and meaning matter in a life well-lived.
Faith is also a meaningful part of my life. I pray, and I believe that as human beings we carry a spiritual dimension that deserves care and attention — something I try to honor both in my own life and in how I understand the people I work with.
